Time to fish! It's cold and the W word!

Stopped at a little store Covey Goods! The owner Whitney is sweet! A nice little bakery too down a bit!

Ok i debated on telling this story, but years ago on the river, the upper Ruby in MT i was fishing with OMJ and had to take a major dump in the middle of the day.. we ended up calling that spot the Shit Hole!

Today a new Shit Hole #2 was created.. need i say more? And on OMJs birthday no less.. haha!

Met a father and his son, both Air Force.. Manual, the dad retired just a week ago and his son is about one year in the Air Force as an avionics engineer!

That Ole man took me to a little creek where he could stop at a bridge and fish while I walked to the next bridge.
I won't tell the name of the creek. but the catching was over the top.
One cutt after another and I caught a RB over 18". There were GB's also but I didn't catch any.
Jim also took me to a spot where I caught my first wild Grayling.
