anyone carry an auto-open folder? Law in OR states such knives must be 'open carry'...'but officer, I thought it was legal if the butt end was sticking up out of the pocket'

Carry? Nooooo, not in WA. Bummer though. I love those Microtech OTF's. I think if you are a first responder, you can get away with it, but I don't know for sure.

My oldest brother has carried an OTF knife for 30+ yrs. It's an oldie.
He somehow has lost his keys, his way and his sanity many times over the years.....but not his switchblade.

I won't disagree with you, but there are people out there who will pay considerably more for an old penny or small piece of perforated paper with some gum on the back.

The Buck 110 is a good knife as well. Probably one of the most popular knives ever.

a good friend of mine is in the Leatherman family, who make all their tools and knives in Oregon. Expanding their knife line is in their current planning.

I have some nice Leatherman tools! A Wave, a Skeletool, and a burley single blade folder with an interesting screwdriver function.
