Bummer
Good entertaining game though.

Heck of a game. Not much defense for either team, but the 49ers made the play they needed at the end.

Here we go....

what a battle, Brock's 5 TD's in back to back games a first in Niner history, MCC with yet another 2,000 yard season, and the D making their best defensive stop of the year.
Next week...

Seahawks 9rs Saturday night
Ravens Steelers Sunday night

Probably should have reversed those two

Pats have won the AFC East. Very nice.
Chargers need to beat the Donkeys for the Pats to get a bye. It's not prbable but could happen.
Jets are awful.
McDermott is an idiot. So emotional. I hope that the Bills keep him.

I was watching some of today’s highlights.
119 catches for the Cards McBride which breaks the TE season record with a game still to go. Very impressive. I really like how he plays. Too bad he plays for the lowly Cards.

I am just glad it is an evening game and not an early game. Time to start planning the food to be eaten...

Damn good 9ers-Bears game...came down to the last play, can't ask for anything more (except maybe some defense)...
I have not been a Caleb Williams fan. He does a lot of the dumb hero ball stuff that Russell Wilson did. I will say that Ben Johnson seems to have him playing a lot better brand of football. Williams looked far better yesterday than I have seen him.

It seems like the Shannahan pure progression style system is one where having a mobile QB like Williams is almost a requirement. It seems as though they can rarely can get through their progressions and have to run and make a play rather than get to the backs side of the field in their progresssions. It's sort of easy on the QB in that they rely on their instincts rather than their brains. It also seems like a system wwhere the QB's don't improve as much over time since they re not asked to do or learn more over time. I'm really intersted to see if Williams will continue to progress or if Johnson's system will cap his growth after speeding it up early in his career.

Josh Allen vs Brock Purdy, sterling example of regardless of how great the physical tools, the most important one is between the ears
