There are a lot of folks who were fans long before some teams became franchises. Lots of folks also didn’t grow up in this area.
Regardless of the sport, it’s seems ridiculous to think you have to root for a team just because you live in their home area.
Hell, we even have a Raider fan here. 😉😂

Didn't say any of that - just that it's a location-specific discussion forum with a home team. Most of our membership lives within a VERY close proximity to said team. It should be expected that the home teams would be discussed disproportionately more than the others. If 90%+ of the people of here are fans of the Seahawks, then the NFL discussion will reflect that.

If you want to discuss other teams, then by all means please do so. Like already stated, it's not supposed to be a thread exclusive to one team... It's just that it's the team most here want to talk about.

I would have quoted you if that was directed at you. Mine was just a general comment about rooting for teams, local or otherwise.

What's weird about this general area you and I live in, though way moreso on my side of the river... There really aren't as many Seahawks fans as you'd expect.

I have a lot of friends who are NFL football fans, yet I don't have a single local friend who is a fan of the Seahawks. Even at the Crossfit/lifting gym I coach at, I know zero Seahawks fans.

I know they exist in the Portland area, but it's not as dominant as you'd expect. I know more Broncos, Raiders, Vikings and Packers fans locally.
 
Vrabel was a good choice as coach.
 
The Jaguars were kind of my second team due to the four years I lived in Florida for college and all my friends being fans. But they've been a difficult team to stay excited about since I left. I keep giving them a chance but always am let down.

My likes vary with coaches and players on the various teams.

Donkey free zone though...
