Well that was fun...
Back to back beat downs on the 9ers is great, got to admit, while I thought we'd win, I didn't think it would be by 35 points...and they don't get a TD.

Onward and forward !!!

I'm not a betting man, but I was tempted to take the 9ers versus the point spread. I thought for sure the Hawks were going to have to pull out another squeaker.

It looked like the 9ers finally ran out of gas and kind of gave up in the second half, but as well as the Hawks played tonight, they would have beaten just about any team handily. I just hope they saved something for next week.

Fair enough. Week 18 really decided this one. Despite all the injuries, the Niners just played their 4 short week game in 5 weeks. It's almost mathematically impossible.

But I'm proud of this team. In a year they reset their cap space by shedding a bunch of solid vets(It was tough watching Hufanga and Greenlaw earlier) and playing a bunch of rookies on D the expertations weren't too high. When Bosa went down then Warner in week 6 I pretty much wrote this season off.

They hit above their weight getting this far and with a bunch of young guys. A full round of picks to shore some things up and they will be right back in the thick of it next year.

Congrats to the Hawks. Schnieder is the best in the business. Getting McDaniel in the NFC West with Shanahan and McVey was really smart. That D is no joke.

Go.........Bears? 🤷‍♂️
 
as a bonus, there's no current film on Stiddy...who knows what he's learned in the last 3 years, eh? 🤷‍♂️

Fun Fact. The San Francisco 49ers did not even get into the Redzone during this game. 0 trips to the redzone.

Shame about Bo! At least when Mahomes went down, the season was already done. From what I read, this is the third broken ankle (high school, Auburn, now). Bad as I feel about Bo, I can't bring myself to root for Denver.

I'm not as confident in the #2 as Payton is. I think he's like 1-3 in his starts.
Perhaps Bo needs to know hightops. Jim Turner used to wear 'em.

I turned off the Hawks game mid third quarter - it was getting embarrassing.

Most of those losses for Stidham came as a Raider...he has a much better team to work with...
 
He's got a decent arm, doesn't have as good of mobility but as long as he doesn't make any big mistakes, they have a shot.....not as good of a shot, but a shot.
