Looks like Darnold is the fave, but this Trevor Lawrence chatter is out there too. Probably just rumors, and can't really see it happening.
Doubt the Jags move on from him, and not sure I'd even want him, but did find it odd.

'When a report emerged last month that the Steelers had called the Jaguars about Lawrence, we were told that it wasn’t the Steelers who had called. It was the Seahawks.'

If so, Geno was sort of on the block already last month.

Rodgers to Pittsburgh and Russ to the Jets...both seem righteous somehow.
🤣

Meh...

About the same upside as before, just younger and cheaper...Geno at 40 mil, I'll pass...just sounds like Geno wanted to go elsewhere, so that's cool with me.

While reports vary, one person with knowledge of the situation said the offer was a two-year deal in the $40-45 million per year range, similar to that of Matthew Stafford of the Rams, who has a four-year, $160 million deal with L.A.," Condotta writes. "That would have kept Smith under contract through the 2027 season. The team made the offer early in the week and hoped to wrap things up by the end of the week. Seattle, instead, is said to have gotten no counteroffer. A report from Fox Sports stated Smith requested a trade Thursday."

Like that they moved fast, and got somebody in quick....
Mostly so we wouldn't have to deal with Arodgs or Russ...
😁

Wish he had someone to throw to....

Although SD is way better than Geno.

Not a terrible contract for a starting QB. Depends on what version of Darnold they get, I suppose.

J-E-T-S......Jets Jets Jets!

Lol

Jets get Fields, so....Arodgs to the Steeler, Russ to the Giants...is that how things wind up ?

Sam Darnold film study.

Eagles D is getting worked over today...
Giving up a lot more than they did in the Super Bowl.

I love this move....provided he can stay healthy.

The Steelers beat writer had a thing up where he said Rodgers was close, almost done...
Then deleted it
