Brap!!I can't tell you how many of my D rookie buddies have eaten a salmon fly their first time in the hatch. Pretty nasty...
Can't really think of any I have. Maybe taking 4 "last" casts for my pops. He was ranked 4th in motocross in the 70s and 4 has always been my lucky number.
when coming into Lewiston to fish that area, one must eat a breakfast sandwich from McDs. if you do, it messes with the pupu
I do that, too.My old Granny taught me to ALWAYS throw a pinch of salt over your left shoulder, if ever you were to spill some salt. I've done this countless times over decades....Every single time that I do this I remember my Granny. Superstition? Yes, but superstitions can have deeper meanings.
whoops, thanks for the fix. One time my dad passed on his Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit. I swung 4, he didnt get a touch. Dont fak w the jujuFixed.
Now, I'd consider you an expert on the area and would always take your advice. But in this case I'm gonna pass.

I think of them as fly fishing tobiko…I can't tell you how many of my D rookie buddies have eaten a salmon fly their first time in the hatch. Pretty nasty...

Believe me, I also talk to muskies...especially after a follow. It cannot be repeated here.not really superstitious at all for me. I like bananas. I do tend to talk to myself sometimes when musky fishing....also talk to the muskies. I suppose my offering "words of encouragement" to fish isn't limited to muskies though.
Practically a performance enhancing drug.It started as a tradition back in the day, when I was much younger, and all the food I needed for a fishing trip was a gas station sandwich and some little chocolate donuts. Since then it has evolved into a superstition. Gotta have those lil chocolate donuts, it throws my mojo off otherwise.
