With La Nina slightly favored in the predictions for this summer, I hope our wet, cool spring weather continues on right into fall.
Lots of clouds and fog with no days over 80° would be on my wish list for the Puget Sound region. I also hate fishing in bright, sunny hot weather.
How about you?

I'm ready for some sun...dont need 80's but sun would be nice.
You can have cloudy mornings, but afternoon sun would be nice for a change.
:)

This did not make my day:

Cliff Mass says colder than last summer for the PNW, thank God!

I would prefer no 90+ days and much less smoke.

Other than that, I don’t care. Just get me on a coho beach already. I’m so ready for those 3:45 am wake-up calls on the weekends, sunrises on the beach/boat, falling asleep exhausted on the couch at 6 pm on Sunday, a sore casting arm/elbow, and of course, that random tug out of nowhere that rips you out of whatever daydream you happened to slip into on the 197 fishless casts prior…

Amen.

I have a lake house. I like sunny days when i am there. The water gets plenty warm, so no need for 90* days. Sunshine and good times with family and friends is all i ask for.

Yeah this.

We can skip summer and go to fall.

I need a little summer. Bro country just sounds better when it is warm and sunny. But come dog days, I'm over it.

So far this has been an unbelievable spring though. Cool with lots of precip. Yesterday we fished a section that was blown out last week. But it got cold again and stalled runoff. Usually we are not fishing this section until June...man oh man the the bite was really good. From my TR:

So I'm diggin' the cool temps and precip. Everything is so green right now. I posted this pic the other day but crazy how nice the valleys are looking. I hope it continues. It would be nice to get some of this precip in August.

I also hope the wind stays down during salmon flies when we have our little mini get together here in late June. Last year we got fucked.

Finally, I have an uncanny knack for sticking a fish anytime a hot chick is nearby. So please, lots of good looking girls floating the river while trying to get rid of those tan lines.

This will also work just fine...

Keep the temps under 90 and give me some fishable ocean. Two things last year was not very good at.

I am a cool and cloudy type, have always hated balzing hot and sunny. Guess i have my climate genes ruled by my Swedish side not the Italian. And i live in an area that gets 300 days of sunshine at altitude go figure.

Move to Montana. We always have these kind of shitty days.

Since I can't control the weather, I'll just live with what ever shows up.

Light wind in SW Montana from June 20-25.

Locally, 70s. Lots and lots of 70s. 60s and the occasional low 80 are also acceptable. 90s are right out!

Early rain in the fall (but not TOO much), to get bitey salmon to places where I can catch (and release) them before the bloodthirsty hordes descend on my favorite spots....

Other, various pipe dreams....

4 day float on the D, rained for 3 of them. Boys trip so that was fine.
Saturday tried to get my mom out for a float, pouring rain with thunder and lightning. no go.
Trying to do our annual family float on the Klick opener this weekend, lots of rain in the forecast.

I'll take cold and wet for my trips but it sure would be nice to get some family style weather for a couple trips. Guess we will go in July when its 110 and blown out. Now if I can just get a hall pass for this weekend...
