Strange, weird or odd or whatever beach finds thread….

Here's a couple. Weirdest thing though was when I was kayak fishing off point Wilson a few years ago and from about 20-30 feet away saw a hand and the top of a head just under the surface. I pedaled over full of dread and discovered it was some kind of mannequin or training dummy. It was wearing camo so I assumed it was Navy gear and left it alone. Pretty sure they do night training on that beach. No pics of that one.

Wow, I would never have believed that a Apostichopus (formerly Parastichopus) californicus sea cucumber could have chased down that jig;). Normally, they mop up detritus from the sea floor.

The bite was very slow. Felt like it mopped up the jig.
