Except for a few, I've built all my own rods. I know enough to not even think about building bamboo, as that's an artistry way above my abilities.
Mine’s plastic, but this. Also, they’re not in their tubes.
My wife actually talked me into fly fishing years ago...so, its kinda her fault...Nasty in a good way of course !!!
Of course my eye went directly here. Every collection needs a crown jewel...My current rod storage condition and reel/line storage. Got lots of plans coming up.
And in fairness some rod were purchased with the idea the wife would start fly fishing….. but I have. It asked her yet

Mine are all stashed, in tubes, behind my "work bench" in the garage. I like it only in that if some dimwit wanders into my garage they aren't the first thing he sees.
Most of the reels are in a cheap plastic 3 draw thingy that I've literally just nailed to the studs. Classy I know.
The big reels are mostly in pouches in a bookshelf with all the old fly line boxes (@Porter2 style) and fly fishing books.
I really need something better. I "lost" my 3wt for a whole season. Yeah, it had just slipped down and was laying flat on the floor behind my classy work bench.
I think, at minimum, a couple tall, but skinny garbage cans would work well back there. Not sure, it might take away from the redneck vibe.
