Camped across from here a couple miles or so below gold medal water with a lot of fly fishermen. I prefer fishing outside that stretch. Same wet area same fish sort of. When I was there the cfs was up a lot

Since it was not optimal water conditions and the bite switched off the usual pat of day idid some painting afternoons.

These were shot near camp just below the gold medal water.. ifound it to be packed with fly fisherman so we fished below. Long drive fom here to CO. Consequently cfs running super fast and high. A few chunky trout caught but this trip was as much about scenic experience as fishing.
One of these days you will see me zipping by you at 50+

Um, I'd be up on the bow in that sitch faster than a seagull can swallow an anchovy.
Why was there nobody on the bow!?!? Presumably they were hooked up or gaffing fish.
We weren't fly fishing that day. No need to be on the bow. That was a one stop and plugged bait stop.
Though right after I took that vid I did run to the bow with the fly rod, but those fish were gorging on tiny saurie and at the time I didn't have anything small enough and couldn't buy a bite.
