Springtime In Montana...What A Difference A Day Can Make

I mean, I know come August we will really appreciate the late season precip.

But man I'm ready for a some warmer, dry weather.

April and May have been as cold/wet as any other year I can remember.

Spokane was on track for the coolest spring in 126 years of record keeping. I don't know if we made it but had to be close.

Another one of my nephews starts construction on the Lone Peak Tram at Big Sky today. This video was from last week when they started moving equipment in.

One of my nephews and gang on their annual Memorial Day camping trip just outside of Red Lodge.

The trailers will be staying for awhile.
Did they get the tents down or did the snow do it for them?

Alot of stuff, which most likely includes a fair amount of empty beer cans, is still there. My nephew said the group 'retired' at midnight and he woke up to his awning creaking at 4 a.m. A guy from a different group tried to get his trailer out and choked up the exit so my nephew just grabbed valuables out of his trailer, locked it up, and went home to Billings until...?

All we are getting here in Butte is rain. Rain is predicted for the next week or so. So much for Montana weather
