Some new shorts I'm stoked on

An honest tune with a lingering lead
Speaking of summer, check these out. These are from a golf company but transition nice into either a day on the water or an evening out with guests. The fit is perfect. In a time where manufacturers are making clothes bigger to make you feel better about your fatness, they fit true to size. A size 32 is a size 32. And we are adults now so our preferred length is right above the knee.

I have them in 4 colors. I love 'em and you'll love 'em too.

Cationic seems to be a a Chinese marketing term no joke.

“Having anionic groups, it can be dyed with cationic dyes giving good results with high brilliancy.”

But the colors of the Beck are all dull as shlt so they used it for marketing. Which would explain the $85 price. You’re getting diddled. Unless those are made with American hands that price point is wack.

I have some shorts from that brand that are some of my faves. I got ’em at TJ Maxx. I don’t want to pay $85 for short pants so if they show up at Marsalls or TJs I’d pick up a pair. They do look good.

Yes, I own several shorts purchased from Costco, but none of them have been really for fishing purposes. In the past I have bought some cargo type shorts from Columbia and North Face. Pockets are important and especially secure pockets when wet wading/hiking. I actually like a little stretch in my waist band on shorts...I seem to run 33-34-35, my weight can fluctuate several pounds but mostly one mfg'ers 34 is another's 36 and so on. I recently got two pairs of Orvis's Lightweight fast drying Jackson Pants that I love and that will keep me going for some time, however their shorts, same material and fit only have an 8" in seam...I prefer 9+ inseams. Im in the market for some fishing/hiking shorts seeing how my others are thinning, and looking kinda shot after 5-6 years.

I have some very old legs. I do like to wear shorts in the summer time. But I prefer them to just come down to the middle of my knees. I also noticed that the prices have gone up lately. Maybe I'll just cut down some of my older jeans. They will work fine for wet wading.

I’d wear shorts were it not for my fishbelly white legs…they’ll blind you in the sun.

Shaved legs; he must be a cyclist.

Last time you started a shorts thread, you were all about fashion while only mildly attending to function. A good summer fishing short must be quick dry fabric and should also have some stretch. And what about pockets? Men's pants and shorts must have functional pockets. This is non-negotiable! And those of us with ripped legs prefer a shorter inseam than 9 or 10".

I got some Orvis stretch shorts with cargo pockets at Costco last year for about $20.

Those are not cyclist's legs, no thighs, and though you can't see front, I guarantee he does not have cyclist's knees. I think he's got skinny ass legs, not impressed, but, that's just me.

cheers
