Skagit and Cascade River fishing updates

Action: Postpones opening of fishing seasons in upper areas of the Skagit River and Cascade River and temporarily closes all fishing in the Skagit

Seems a little strange to keep the lower river open even at the lower limits if they're getting that many chinook seeing as how the middle section has only been open a week and a half.

I suspect that the majority of the kings are above Gilligan Creek. Maybe not the best decision to open it August 15th.

Preamble says no fishing Gilligan Creek to Dalles Bridge in Concrete but then goes on to say no fishing to Marblemount Bridge. Doesn't look like a very carefully constructed or reviewed regulation.
