Gore-Tex is not going away, they are changing their formulation, been underway for several years. Will they be more expensive, of course, prices virtually always go up, rarely down.

And if prices did start decreasing on a macroeconomic scale those deflationary impacts would be disastrous. Nominal inflation rates of 2% to 3% must occur to spur reinvestment.

They go to great lengths to explain it on their site. It's intriguing. But unless they find us an outlet worthy of a set for reviews, I don't see us finding out any time soon.
