TLDR - does enshitification end with a new "good" investor buying the now defunct brand down the road and returning it to glory? Or....do these companies that get bought end up dying off most offen?

I'm not aware of any such examples.

Who can afford Simms I already gave up my kids to Simms when they first came out with Zipper Front waders which didn't last long either before leaking that's when I had two good legs an could fish rivers.
