I’ve never fished for pinks from a boat in the salt and would love to do so. If anyone has a spot one day I’d love to join you. Im in N Seattle but can travel as needed. I’m fairly proficient at casting/fishing, have all necessary gear and flies, will pay my share of gas and bring sandwiches and drinks, I don’t get seasick and I’m a lefty. Jeff Dodd or Nick Clayton can hopefully testify that I would be reasonable company and not a burden. I do have a 12’ Jon boat and would most happily reciprocate the favor re a day on Lone for some fall lake fishing. You can pm me if you’ve a seat and want to chat first.

Dave, I don't have a boat but you seem like one hell of a date! Somebody better take this hot number up on it!
 
I have had a very nice offer or is that a take. Actually a truly great outcome as the offer is from someone I’d love to fish with as I suspect we have a lot in common and a great opps for sure. Tales of daring do in Elliot bay to come in Aug/Sept…to be followed with lone lake escapades in the fall 😀

Would love to do the tuna thing sometime with you as it seems epic, I possibly will see this season, but I was talking with a friend re another SRC escapade with you this fall. On my last trip with you I recalled your comment “That cast deserves a fish” then boom LOL. An epic call. You are Mr Fish 😀 best of luck with the season.

Thank you Matt, I had a super time and those pinks are a lot fun, slimey be damned. Short releases were appreciated by both of us 😀 The doubles were a blast and man they are strong fish. I had a 6 and Matt an 8. Many went down deep and just would not be turned to the net. If you ever need lefty ballast at the bow of your boat you know who to call…😎

Sincerely thanks again Matt it was an itch that got well and truly scratched. Look forward to your next report.
