RETIREMENT.....IT’S OFFICIAL!!

Update……we’re really digging retirement! It took Kerri little longer to adjust from 45 years in the dental field but I was golden when I walked out the doors for the last time!! I don’t get up early…especially since we just bought a Sleep Number bed! And I don’t fish early either, I’ve always been second shift, not the first on the lake but usually the last one off. It’s so awesome waking up thinking what should we do today?? Nothing if we want….go play with our granddaughter…..fish…drink….fish and drink! And to think we’re getting paid for it…..finally!
It‘s weird being the same age as old people! But as I posted in another thread….my lifelong retirement project is finally happening! CHEERS ALL!!

I see ……excitement in your future….LOTS…. of it….but don’t go screwing up your casting shoulder working on your fishing vehicle. But, I Also think you should do one of these in ‘…boo for the front of the vehicle.

@Bambooflyguy let's go fish the Yakima the middle of next week.. or chase some sea run cutthroat trout! I'm in between jobs and going to fish as much as I can.. Wednesday or Thursday.. I'll even drive.. although your truck is cooler! In the canyon on the Yak or PM me for sea runs! Fish on!
 
I fish lakes 95% year round…..not much on moving water anymore. I fished the Yak a bit years ago, I’ll leave it for others. Sea runs and rezzies would be a better choice for me, but we have a new garage door coming mid to late week…..about my truck….you’d get tired pushing it! Don’t give up on me, we’ll fish sometime!
