Rain

God's own bongwater falls from the sky...
It's like Christmas in September for stonedfish
:)

The Big Dark is coming...

As I was leaving central penna. I took a look at the local creeks and the susquehanna. Penns and Buffalo Creeks were extremely low, as in you could walk across and not get wet in some spots. That was Sept. 30th. Susquehanna River was the same way. Huge dichotomy between late summer and early summer where they almost flooded.

As I was coming across 90, I stopped Friday night in Sheridan, WY. It was in the high 80's when I went to bed and in the 50's when I got up, with a steady cold rain.
Had steady rain all the way to Belgrade MT, then intermittent showers to Missoula. So I think fishing might have picked up a bit in those spots. It was interesting seeing sage brush and prairie grass turn from dusty Grey's and yellows to a greener coloring. Definitely they needed the rain

I mowed the grass today.
I had to water the plants.

Where is the rain?

I have almost drained by pool watering so much.

Like Full Moons have names ( Hunters Moon, Harvest Moon etc.) Rain should have names.

This upcoming one should be 'Rain of the Chums'...

They'll be everywhere after it's over.
🙂

Helluva front coming through right now in Renton. Lights have gone out and came back on 4 times in past 2 hours. Went outside and heard several trees come down in our neighbors yards. At least that is what I am hoping for so our cleanup will be easier for next few days. Wind gusts are greater than 40mph. PSE is showing lots of outages all over too.

Note to self: get better weather-stripping for doors. Whistling sound is not a good thing...
