As I was leaving central penna. I took a look at the local creeks and the susquehanna. Penns and Buffalo Creeks were extremely low, as in you could walk across and not get wet in some spots. That was Sept. 30th. Susquehanna River was the same way. Huge dichotomy between late summer and early summer where they almost flooded.
As I was coming across 90, I stopped Friday night in Sheridan, WY. It was in the high 80's when I went to bed and in the 50's when I got up, with a steady cold rain.
Had steady rain all the way to Belgrade MT, then intermittent showers to Missoula. So I think fishing might have picked up a bit in those spots. It was interesting seeing sage brush and prairie grass turn from dusty Grey's and yellows to a greener coloring. Definitely they needed the rain
