Seeing some potential for rain in the forecast. Maybe it will be one of those years where fall starts in early September and some of those fish will move before the nets and lower river sport anglers get after them. I always hope for that scenario for the Chehalis tributaries, too, because the fishing (and I should think escapement) tends to be much better in the tribs when some fish get up before the lower river opens.
Seems to happen less and less these days, but one can hope.
