That’s the sun, dude! What’s crazy is I can’t see Vashon or Three Tree point from my house, but I can look up and see Mars.
At 5:00 in the morning???? I don't think so.That’s the sun, dude!
Reminds me of 2020. I made the 'paper'.....of course the guy photographed the shittiest cast of the day

Looked for chums with @jasmillo this morning, found some but they were being pricks, lousy tide doesn't help either.
Got into some src at slack low half time.

Stanwood-Camano area under air quality alert through weekend
Heavy smoke from wildfires in Oregon and California has reached Western Washington and is expected to linger through the weekend, making for unhealthy air conditions.www.goskagit.com

Why the wounds? Are they from being hooked during the beach/salt water salmon season?
Sasquatches?
or Wolves?
Just kidding on the last two, I’m truly curious
Nice fish Brian. Where's your wood handle net?Fun day on the water. 38° when I started at 7:30. Called it a day at 1:30.
It was nice to have fog and well as cooler air and water temps.
Some anchovies around but not nearly as many as the past two trips, which was great.
Also some staging coho and chum around.
Quite a few fish as usual with wounds.
Never changed flies today. I used a double hackle bead chain eye fly inspired by some European sea trout patterns I’ve been looking at recently.
A few pics from today.
