Friday night campground scene...
 
I plan to arrive sometime Friday early afternoon and leave either Saturday evening or early Sunday AM. I might just sleep in the back of my CRV and avoid the whole wet tent phenomenon. I will bring some firewood and something for potluck. Something.

I just smashed the wires that connect my trailer to the car (flat 4 wiring harness) in the tailgate latch. I'm not at all handy. Haven't hooked the trailer up to see if the lights work, but there's exposed copper wires in the harness now. Any advice?
 
I was planning on attending this weekend but life has been absolutely crazy the past few months. Gonna go decompress and clear my head in the mountains for a few days. Hope you guys have a bunch of fun. Don’t forget the blue tarps! 😁
 
I'm bringing some wood (thanks @Northern !), beer, hobo packet fixings, hot dogs and buns, ketchup and mustard, tortillas, PB&J, some Irish whiskey, coffee and a percolator, oat milk, banana bread, and whatever else I find in the pantry.

You all are bring nice artisanal food while I just threw stuff in my cart at Costco! I hope I don't get laughed out of camp for my pre ground coffee, Mission tortillas, and Jif extra crunchy peanut butter!

Shouldn't need to be handy to fix that. Do you at least have a wire stripper and/or crimps? If you can do any kind of temp job to get it down to the camp, I can try to remember my stuff to redo the wire connections.

So long as you haven’t severed wires you should be fine. Just cover the exposed copper with some sort of plastic tape for now.

I'm coming down this afternoon with some firewood. Also thinking of sleeping in my truck rather than pitch a tent that I'll have to dry out next week. Can't do Evan's hot sauce, so I'll just bring some bacon and eggs.
 
I was finally able to fully confirm with my family that I have a hall pass for Saturday. I'll probably arrive late morning. If possible, I'll be bringing my Hobie and some bamboo rods if any of you wanted to give them a try. Don't fully judge grass rods by my builds, but it should give you at least an idea as to why a lot of us think they're incredible, especially for smaller streams. I'll try and bring my doublehander and a couple of the heavier wt rods....and I mean heavy!
As far as food.....should I bring anything specific? I usually do my camp chili. I'll have plenty of beer to share and probably go back home Sunday morning as a result of the beer. I'll also bring a propane fire pit.

Mark is being far too modest. Based on the 12wt he built, his bamboo rods are beautiful.

Thanks for offer! Shout out to my mechanic, Basic Auto Services, LLC, in Lynnwood for fixing me up on the spot first thing this morning.
