Well, we're finally at the end of our journey (I hope). We have settled in a nice little place in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We have a few acres and a pond. I'll focus on the pond for now, it is the focal point of the property. It does need some beatification, shoring up of some banks, more grasses and flowers. It is also fed by an artesian well, which we will build up around and create a waterfall.
When we first got her a couple of weeks ago, I thought I saw a hen mallard out back, but she then disappeared. We had a pair of Drakes paddling around in the pond:

We also have numerous frogs, which I imagined were huge bullfrogs from the volume of the noise they make at night, but in fact are rather small:

Then 2 nights ago, the Hen showed up with about a dozen little ones:

Think this pond is going to be fun. Hope to explore some Pooconos thin blue lines soon.
