NFR Oscars: Smith vs. Rock

Non-fishing related

A year from now they will pay another $2K to make that a ying yang butterfly or some shit.

Thread drift: I've spent thousands of dollars chasing stupid little fish but I'll never understand tattoos. I guess I've never been passionate enough about something to want it marked on my body for the rest of my life. Closest I can think of is I spent 12 years trying to get into the olympics and if I had made it I might have gone for the circles deal.

Disclaimer: Tattoos don't bother me at all. I just dont want one and have a hard time reconciling the expense. I recently was in line at the gas station and the cashier was showing off her sleeve to a customer and saying it cost her $17K.

Whoever started this climate change shit on an Oscars thread, how about starting your thread on the subject, eh? You'll either get more serious discussion about it there or you'll get another thread locked up and put away....I'd guess the latter, which may be the direction this thread is headed now.

damn, $17k? must be a lucrative business. I do have a couple I got nearly 25 years ago. didn't spend much on them at all (it shows....lol), one I really like and the other I keep meaning to see how much it would be to have covered up, but then I also think it would be kinda funny to just have "regret" tattooed above it....even funnier would be to intentionally misspell "regret"...

thing about virtue signalling is it takes place equally on both sides...someone points out a problem, another is compelled to point out it doesn't impact their lives in the least...two sides of the same whole, around and around...batter up

This just in. A thread about some pointless celebrity beef was interrupted by further pointless items resulting in a cluster of pointless of banter about the relevance of the pointless subject at hand. We will remain with this story as it develops, stay tuned.
