Open Seat Lone or Pass Lake Tomorrow/Wednesday.

I'd sure like to but I can't tomorrow. Have fun.
For you budding indicator fishers here's a golden opportunity to learn from the master himself.

I'd be all over that, love to learn from you. Great offer. But we got Tball tomorrow and, well, it's a bit of a road trip.

I’m hitting Lone tomorrow morning…

Well, the bobber watchers were catching and I was fishing. Full sink and a Carey was not the ticket, although I did manage one stocker on the way out only have it unbutton just shy of the net…oh well, it was a beautiful day.
check out two rod Ira…!

Fishing alone?
I should have contacted him about that open seat

It was a slooooow morning for me, I managed a hit trolling with my new M&M Kreelex pattern and something tiny kept messing with me at the point enough to keep my ADD focused on my indicator for awhile, but in the distance I saw a net and like any good Stillwater fisherman, I went chasing intel.

Roper’s picture is where I started educating the fresh stockers. I’m not much along a fish snob, to me an indicator under, is an indicator under, so my day was made with multiple hook ups on small fish. FBC532B2-3F7A-437F-94E4-006C6D5E220D.jpeg
Every once in awhile though a big guy would beat the little guys to the micro leech reward.732F0CFE-692F-4E8B-9C62-B6B430FCC359.jpeg
I did hand Roper one of my rods that I was fishing, but even at his well earned age and experience level, he still hasn’t learned to hold his elbows at the proper angles. This is him in the distance making recognizing that he needs to do some arm exercises. I believe he was planning to do so with a shotgun and a Turkey target. Apparently this is good, but to be honest, I like one of my last fish a bit more. A66106C5-20F5-4F37-A701-08A52E055AF5.jpeg
Not an off the chart day, but friggin, I needed a sunny beer day on the water!

I was at Lone today in my green rowing dory. I caught a few, nothing big. Confirmed I don't like watching bobbers. Around 4pm, the trout started looking up. I caught five little guys on my tiny muddler on the surface. I think they were eating these beetles:
