Official 2026 MLB Discussion Thread

Will be at Fenway in Sept. first visit. Any recommendations for what to see??

Lived in Boston area for 10 years and haven’t been back for a decade. Getting to Fenway early and checking out all the pregame experience can be fun. Bleacher Bar has a view of the field, and getting food/drinks in the area with the locals can be fun.

For non-baseball activities, soak in all the history and architecture. The Freedom Trail is great on a fall day

Cal hitting .161

The word on the street is the Mariners starting lineup have all booked overseas vacations for the month of october.

All the starters except the third baseman Brendan Donovan, who will be at home with an extended injury.

And fire Jerry 'dipshit' Dipoto.

The Mendoza line is done...
It's now the Raleigh line.

Last night felt like the Dinger from Springer all over again!

Mariners have thrown up some runs lately.
Nice to see the bats getting used.
Didn't see the game. Some semi random thoughts about the M's:
  • Box scores showed Donnavan hit 3 RBI singles and only 1 LOB last night.. that's not Mariners baseball is it? Doesn't he know it's HR or strike/pop/ground out in runners on base/RISP situations?
  • Cole Young has been a stud all year long. A 2nd year leftie that's earned the right to face lh pitching!
  • Colt E. should have been sent down sooner, doesn't do him or the team any good to let a great prospect struggle like that.
  • Cal went 0 for 5 with 5 LOB. Maybe Cal should join Emerson in Tacoma, find a reason for an IL and rehab -- I think the system is a bit shy on catchers though.

Looks like the Brewers had a successful two point conversion on one of their touchdowns.

4 turnovers for the M's
