I'll bet the rest of the NFC West really hope that Purdy resets the QB market....at least as much as Purdy and his agent!

it will be interesting to see what the Hawks do with their o-line.
Other then drafting Cross high, they don't seem to put a lot of resources into it. Do they try to sign someone like Trey Smith or is that too rich for their blood to spend $18-21 million per year on a guard? My guess is they'd pass.

Not sure...with a new coach and w decent tackles, might make a move this time.
Lucas and Cross, when healthy, are decent enough.
I think they bring in mid tier or higher lineman this time, not ' just a guy'.
Lots of pieces in place offensively already they can work with.

I'm also wondering what the Vikings defense does with their O-line. Bad things probably.

The have tried to draft linemen. They spent almost 25% of their draft picks on O-line since 2020. Four of those are within the 1st 3 rounds. 4 of their 5 starters were drafted by them.

I suspect theat they will continue to try and fond linemen through the draft.

Prions...misfolded proteins behind Cowboys failure to win.

Too bad Jerry Jones doesn't post on the 'What Are You Eating' thread...

I ate a squirrel once...I was 12, and I shot it for its tail...my dad saw me with it in the backyard and said "how are you going to cook it?"...I had forgotten our rule...if we kill it, we eat it. I fried it like I have done with rabbits...it was like eating a shoe. My dad waited until I got most of it down, then said "I would have put that into a stew"...my culinary skills were pretty primitive at that age...

I've heard hatchet harvested possum is better than squirrel.

Hatchet harvested possum is certainly good eating from what I gather, can't speak personally of course...my tastes aren't that refined.
I can tell you machete filleted grouper is good...

Exactly why I watch games with the sound turned off. Back before TV, announcers had to describe the action on the field to give a perspective of what is going on. But with the advent of TV we could see what was going on at the same time as the announcer so having what I saw 10 seconds ago described to me just seems redundant. Add to that the broadcasting mantra that dead air time is the devil and every second must be filled by useless drivel and you get what we have today. Verbal diarrhea by a bunch of ex jocks that have no formal broadcasting training at all. There are a few that are really good but they are in the minority, most are freakin' awful. I heard Tom Brady this week for the first time and didn't realize how bad he is. He should have stuck with Gisele and lived happily ever after.

Since there are no standards for broadcasting quality the bar is set really low and even at that many broadcasters still trip over it.
Brady is bad , but you listened to Aikman lately ????? He's horrible . I can take Brady over Aikman . Aikman just rattles on . Actually they all do ,but IMO Aikman takes it to another level.

Going against the Giants should be a soft landing in the NFL for Penix...
