Good one....

Fyi, I did spend a fair bit of my childhood in TX. That happens to be one word I still use somewhat frequently.

I'll bet those teams are anxiously awaiting your input...good luck! Hope you get the job so that we can see some real play calling.

did my boot camp outside San Antonio, and returned in the 2000's to Houston for some bidness...like Texans, amicable folks

Seahawks played better, didn't give up big plays over and over again.
Only one snap over the QB's head, not a lot of penalties...still can't run the ball, but a win is a win.
Defense played well, need more sacks and turnovers, but what team doesn't?

Bison went...
Go Bison...

Ex-Oakland football and baseball teams fan since they defected to Lost Wages. (And I have rooted for them since my childhood)

Who should an Oregon boy root for?

FYI…
Can’t stand the following teams
Football… KC, Seattle, Dallas, or Washington (there’s a couple three reasons KC is listed first)
Baseball… Seattle, Cleveland, NY Yankees, or Toronto (baseball just seems wrong north of the border) πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

Just heard a great kine from Tony Kornheiser regarding the Niners "They're done, they are in Cowboy land, they are done" - OUCH

Go 3Peet
Bye-bye 49ers

Ouch. That one hurt. I don't know whats up with the Niners this year but it aint good. SB loss hangover? Too many all-pros wanting their money changing the culture over the last few years? 4 all-pros injured at a time?

5-5 so they still have a chance, but it just doesn't feel like its their year when they keep losing the supposed to win games and have a brutal schedule left.

Congrats to the Hawks on a spicy win.

I have to look up Tony kornheiser. At 76, he is senile.

Go niners!

My suggestion would be the Detroit Lions. If the Seahawks are not in the picture (likely), you can join me in rooting for the Lions to make their first Superbowl appearance.

KC just picked Tyquan Thornton off the Pats garbage pile. He could not get on the field for NE but will be on KC's practice squad. NE has a poor WR room.

He runs the 40 in about 4.3 . Makes you wonder if Reid thinks that he can get anyone open if they can run fast enough. History tells you that he probably can.

Niners are in trouble, and whereas much is from injuries to key players, it's also from their refusal to invest in quality offensive linemen (other than Trent Williams who is having a below average year after a prolonged holdout), resulting in a current O-line rating of 24th in the league by Pro Football Focus, which tracks such metrics for all teams.
So on pass plays Purdy has very little time to see the entire field before the O-line breaks down, turning timed throw routes into scramble plays.
And Shanahan's offensive schematic is based on a dominating run game to pull the linebackers and safeties in tighter to the box, opening up the passing lanes and grinding down the opposing defense with extended drives which keep the opposing offense off the field.
Hard to do with an O-line which has shown it can neither pass protect or punch run holes through the D-line.

Got to go Broncos.

It’s funny. SF gets their stud RB back for two games and now they are in trouble. Every team deals with injuries and players out and back. It’s a grind. No excuses. Do it or don’t. It is so hard to win in this league. The separation of talent on teams is so minuscule. Coaching, dedication, and basic hustle usually favors the victor. That football is an oval odd shape thing that must be protected and if not it seems to bounce at funny angles at times.

Be a pro picker and make the Ducks your team. Much more enjoyable to watch than a pro team.
