For much of the Hawks - Jets game, I couldn't tell which team was trying harder to lose. Only became clear in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter, thankfully. Oh, except for Williams, he was a monster and really stepped up and showed how to play some defense! Wow!

And what's with Smith lately, doin' a Russell Wilson impersonation and seeing if he can hang on to the ball for a full minute without getting sacked. (Spoiler: he can't.)
 
Just glad to get a win, and not be 0 for NewYork.

This Bills-49ers thing is going to be wild. The snow is already piling up on the field, and it's falling steady. There might be 6" of snow on that field by game's end.

Glad I don't need to make the commute home from the stadium this evening. That might be a little lousy.
 
I've seen McCaffery more on commercials tonight than I have on the field...

Looks like the Hawks will probably end up winning the one division that none of the teams seem to really want to win....
 
Aaron Rodgers is a perfect Jets QB. They may have the worst QB situation outside of Cleveland. Not only is he a selfish player and awful leader that is more concerned with himself than his team, he is old and expensive as well.
The Jets make me feel just a little bit better about the tire fire that is my beloved patsies.
 
Niners looked pretty bad...even in bad conditions.
Looked like the Tomsula era.

Without cmc and Trent Williams, Purdy is below average at this point, and his big contract deal for next year is melting like a snowball in Miami.

Oh well...

Yup, Niners are dunzo. I didn't expect them to win this game but hopefully it makes it clear its time to shut everybody down. Better than fighting to end up in a tie loss.

They were done when the schedule came out. Record 5 games against teams coming off their bye. Shit, even in their bye week they played a team coming off their bye. Add in 2 teams coming off a Thursday night game. For an aging team that has had deep playoff runs the last 5 years, recipe for disaster.

Shit, even their kicker and punter have missed games this year.

Shut it down, get everybody healthy for next year, and hope for an Eagles like comeback season. 2 years before Purdy's new contact number really hit....
