sure was fun watching Mason, an undrafted free agent, rush for 147 yards. Shanahan has a nose for identifying UFA's who can contribute within his schemes, almost makes up for the draft picks the Niners have whiffed on under Lynch.
Rodgers arm continues to impress, he made some laser throws...and does anybody have a better disgusted eye roll when a receiver drops a ball...lol
 
Hatd to get excited with a team having 6 field goals. SF won ugly. They have a lot to work on... Saying all that they are a team to watch...

True, unless they do it every drive. They only punted on their first drive.

Either the Jets D is waaaay overrated or the Niners O is going to be crazy good.
 
SF will have better defensive teams to play against. No question there.

SF now has a baseline to build from. A good thing. With the quality of their coaches and players, they should do just fine...

true dat...good teams have to win ugly if need be, however, and having a reliable field goal kicker is often the difference between wins and losses during the playoffs.
Going to be a long season, and as always, it will come down to injuries and how that weird shaped ball bounces...

Two bruising running backs is gonna be their super power.
I see it as Niners, Rams/Cardinals, (probably Cardinals, then at the caboose position, Seattle.
 
I listened to Steve Raible for good chunk of hawks game this past Sunday . It’s some good entertainment plus I like how he calls it as he sees it and not so bias to call out hawks players doing stupid things. Might do it again next week while fishing 😜

Fun fact...
Since 1990, 279 teams have started 0-2. Only 32 of them turned it around and made the playoffs that season.
 
Wow. After something like 20 minutes of flag-free football, the Hawks have sure broken open the dumb penalty play book late in this half. I'm not saying I agree with all the calls, but they better play squeaky clean, because you can tell this is the kind of game that could end up being decided by a bad penalty. Both teams playing good offense and slightly sub-standard defense. It's been a confusing blend of entertaining and frustrating.

Nice punt return right there, though. Let's get some late points before the half!
