What do they have now three or four head coaches that they are paying for that have been fired . Most likely he will be on the two year plan before they fire him .Don't think coaching was the Raiders' problem, they had 2 head coaches over the past several years who had them playing some competitive football (then fired them), their problem is they don't have a starting QB, unless they address that, PC may be SL (short lived).

... And Refs, Please protect Patrick Mahomes, don't let anyone even breath on him ...
I have gotten quite the kick out out of all the crying ,and complaining about the refs over the two calls against the Texans for roughing the QB , and of course his out of bounds flop . What they should do is google Josh Allen ,and watch his Lebron James acting , ever bit as good as that one of Mahomes .
Just to set the record straight on all this nonsense, Mahomes is way down in roughing the passer calls: on a per 100 attempts basis, Mahomes sits in 28th place (0.636), the leader being Robert Griffin III (1.241).

2024, Justin Fields drew the most calls (7), followed by Mahomes (6) and Josh Allen (5).
2023, Josh Allen drew the most calls (7) followed by Mahomes (5), Goff (5), and Wilson (5)
2022, Goff drew the most calls (6), followed by Gino Smith (5) and Curt Cousins (5), Mahomes drew an eye-popping 2 calls
Mahomes has never drawn more than 6 calls in a season (2024), in 2020, Josh Allen drew 11 calls.

Mixed feelings…while he is a great head coach and has cred in the locker room, I feel the same way about Carroll as I did about Gruden…their coaching philosophy is dated and I fear third down and four running between the tackles with a mediocre backfield and worse offensive line (at least Gruden had Josh Jacobs)…It really depends on if we trade up to get a qb and who the OC hire is going to be

For sure he is old school ,lot of these new young coaches got a much different way of coaching . Raiders definitely need more than just a good coach .
