Not that I'm much of a Steelers fan, but it's a shame with that defense. Troy re-stated what we already knew, he doesn't work the intermediate area of the field. It tends to be hero-ball or check downs. Defenses sit back and bleed him out 1 yard at a time.
 
Kurt Warner put out a QB analysis of Russell Wilson a month ago (a game the Steelers won) that exposes the weaknesses and strengths of his game.



Basically he can't see over the line of scrimmage, therefore won't make intermediate throws over the middle of the field. Steelers always supply him a safe check down receiver just beyond the line of scrimmage. Wilson prematurely scrambles out of a safe pocket so he can see down field, then launches scripted or unscripted moon balls that often result in big completions. Lots of unnecessary sacks result from fleeing the pocket prematurely.

Joe Burrow in contrast is the ultimate NFL QB as pertains to a scripted passing attack.
 
At least what should be the game of the week, Vikings and Lions, will be on TV tonight.

Yeah... take your pick of trash games in NFC West this week. Pretty sad when the best we can root for is the Rams having to play a better team in the first round. Hawks are playing well, but these lame duck games are, well, lame at the end of the day.
