Not mine -- would be a great place to call home!

Yes, LT is more fun in my opinion . BT was fun way back when there were some Lahotans. Still fun to fish chronies in the shallows at 18”.

Sweet! We were looking for property and cabins in this area, but that kinda ended when we moved to the Peninsula. It’s a beautiful part of the state and this area is bound to increase in value, if it you can continue to secure fire insurance.

@Jeff Dodd , Great Point! Insurance has become a huge issue in a number of states recently. Either availability or reasonable cost; or both..

Just the right amount of lawn to mow. Looks like a decent fire break around it with a metal roof, but lots of wood in and around the house. Beautiful place.

What a unique location! Very nice place and, for me, something to dream about. I bet winter’s last quite a bit, eh!

trip back in 2000, chatting with the snowboarder/fly fisherman who ran a small general store that also sold flies in Winthrop (still there?), mentioned the seemingly vacant super nice places right on the river, the peeled log homes needing obvious wood maintenance ...'handful of Microsoft millionaires built the places and than just faded on them.'
As to fishing in the nearby lakes...

There has been an effort to channel water from the Methow River into the lake due to the shrinking lake surface. Last I heard the effort was thwarted because the river was also required a much needed shot of H2O.
