Okay, so my comment was trying to poke fun at a previous comment from the week before that said 7 elite QBs and Brock Purdy. That comment did not spark a firestorm like mine did. I don't think you can judge one person's eliteness on playoff records alone on teams with 53 man rosters. Elway lost twice as many superbowls than he won. Tarkenton never won one and the teams suffered for years with no heat on the sidelines. Then there's Jim Kelly... Hard to argue that any of those were not considered elite in their day.
