Yeah, he's doing well on the TDs and improving this year. He had a rough start to the year with fumbles and drops, though.
 
Russ is definitely a competitor, and even in really bad stretches of Hackett and Payton, Russ would give it 110%. He looked good last night, and as a 49ers fan, he gave me PTSD last night.
 
I wonder if there's not 12 men on the field if the OC still has his job.

I'm thinking he does...coaches kind of don't get fired after a win.

McDermott is ultimately the guy, but he won't be firing himself.

The same thing happened when we fired Chucky...Rich Bisaccia, the Special Teams coach, took over as interm HC...players really liked him, and responded on the field; well enough to turn a lousy season into a playoff appearance. I'm hoping Antonio Pierce has the same effect on this team. I remember when he played for Giants...he was a beast of a LB...has playoff and Super Bowl experience...

I saw a graphic that showed he is having his best season, analytics-wise.
