Certainly could be worse...Evan, it definitely could be worse.
The played poorly with an uninspired game plan against a very good team, with a predictable outcome give how things unfolded.
Moving on to the Commanders now...

I nominate Evan and Salmo to get hired on as co-GMs of the Seahawks!
Serious question: Do you only watch the QB? We both agree Geno is not playing well, but if you think it's because "he sucks," then you aren't watching the rest of what's going on around him.
Saying we need a new QB is like saying we need a new running back because Ken Walker has to fight to get back to the line of scrimmage on every carry. Both part of the same problem. And yes, coaching is part of the problem, but more on the offensive scheming not doing them any favors. They're drawing up plays like they have an o-line that can hold up - but every run play has guys in the backfield right after the snap, and every pass play has no pocket.
What I'm saying is benching him doesn't fix the issue. Anybody you put in there is going to have the same exact problem until they fix the scheme (which I don't think is going to happen). Unless Drew Lock can provide his own protection and create a forcefield around himself to create a pocket, you'll get the exact same results. QBs cannot play with what our line is currently giving them.Yes it is not all on Geno, but he is getting worse every game, at what point do you bench him?
The O line problem is 100% on the coach and GM, they put vey little into it, been this way since Pete got here. When they get a star lineman the quickly trade em away.
We won't though. It won't change. If it does, it'll be for like the first quarter of one game, and once it's working, they'll go back to Peteball. He isn't going to change his ways at this point in his career.Carrol looked and sounded like a guy willing to make some adjustments after yesterdays game. We will see.
I'm not a "sky is falling" type person. I just keep seeing the same issues every game, and they were on full display yesterday. My main issue is I just don't see it getting fixed.5 wins is not impossible here, it's not like Pit, Ari, Tenn, DC and Lar are powerhouse teams...the Ravens are a powerhouse team.
The weekly Monday morning overreaction is always enjoyable though.
It's either:
They suck, fire everyone
Or
They were great, going to win them all
Injuries play a big role in the second half of the season, and other teams get them also.
I did not anticipate a deep playoff run at the start of the year, so right now, they are about one game behind where I thought they'd be...I'm not a "sky is falling" type person. Yeah, some of those teams will definitely make the team look better. I think they'll sneak in to the playoffs. Might even take the division, depending on what SF decides to do with their lives. I just personally don't anticipate a deep playoff run.
They’re pretty goodInteresting tidbit:
The Ravens have faced 3 teams with a winning record at the time of their matchup(Browns, Lions, Seahawks). They've finished those games with a combined score of 103-12.
