The Lions were unbeatable in 2008 -- the preseason, that is. Once the games counted, Detroit was perfectly bad.

Well, so much for the Trey Lance era. I do think the kid could be good but he needs to go get his ass kicked on a bad team for a while to get the reps. I think the roster turned out better than they anticipated and they just can't go with a question mark at QB with a super bowl ready team.
Those 3 first rounders hurt, but Lynch has drafted enough star players in later rounds to make up for it. In fact, with their drafting record(bad early round picks, great mid-round picks) they might have just saved some cap space...
