NFR NFL - 2022

Naaah, KC still has too many weapons to defend, Hardman Hill very similar in key stats (yds/catch, catch%, yards/touch) - Hardman is younger, less expensive, better team mate, and on the upswing, Hill will soon be on the downswing - I predict he will not have a huge impact in Miami.

Again, not in the least worried about the KC receiving core.

Cheers
Hill was not defendable…every team feared him. I tried to rationalize trading Khalil Mack too…

Hill is 28. At what point does the speed wane?

It'll be nice to see KC with an offense that has to make 12 play drives instead of one play, score...

But considering their defense, they're probably going to have to get into shootouts too...

Was reading some interesting stats on receiver separation yardage. Not sure how they measure such a thing, but if I recall correctly Hill was like 13th in the NFL.
I would have thought he would have been higher. If I can find it again I'll post it.

Hill can turn a 3 yard slant into a 70 yd td…guys like that you can count on a butcher’s left hand…

It's NFL NextGen Stats

my guy Pat Surtain II was number 3 on the top speed during a play.

Interestingly, Hill was 19th. one can look at stats all day long, but that doesn't explain why nobody can catch Hill or stay with him on routes. His start to top speed is probably one of the best, combined with high-end top speed combined with high-end route running combined with high-end "shiftiness" etc etc etc

great, now I'll be buried in that site for a few hours...

Interesting. The guy in New England always seemed more concerned with the TE than Hill. That guy has proven to be a pretty good defensive coach. He also has seemed to devalue the WR position over the years.
Hill is a Z receiver mostly. I suspect that they can get Hardman wide open lining him up there. They have the picks to go get a burner or a big guy to play X.
Replace the players before they regress and get the highest return. Solid work in KC. that's how you win for a long time, not just when the stars align.

Like the Sultan that bought a horse for the young prince…”we’ll see”…

The Dolphins are particularly good at winning the off-season. Their GM is a joke. They just fired the best coach that they have had in 20 years. Their QB is just over 6 ft tall and frail. If past performance is the best predictor of future performance, I would take Veach over Grier every day of the week.
KC now has 2 picks in each of the 1st 4 rounds. They aren't paying 25% of their cap to a wideout who is likely at his peak and likely to be in full decline by the end of the contract. Now, he may turn into Jerry Rice but when I watch him play, he seems to be great due to elite athleticism. Speed does not age well, generally.

Interesting that Cleveland took on Watson know there might be a second grand jury.
It also mentions other women are looking to file suit against Watson.

Cleveland was finally a contender, and it's like they're trying to intentionally go back to the Browns we have grown to expect.

Harsh. You forgot that the Dolphins are now lead by Shannihan's brain. Run, run, run in 2022. Draft a new QB in 2023.

They signed two new running backs.
It will be interesting to see what happens to ex Huskies Gaskin and Ahmed moving forward.

While I like Tua, and root for the local HI boy to do well, he’s been injured too much and most likely won’t be able to stay on the field for a whole season…

Things I'm thankful for....not being a Browns fan.

I'm not much of a Mayfield fan, but they haven't done themselves any favors by the way they've treated him while acquiring Watson.
For having been the #1 selection, his trade value is going to continue to drop with limited places to go and his guaranteed contract.
They might have to eat some of that contract while only getting lower picks for him.
Then what if the grand jury finds enough that charges are brought against Watson? What a PR nightmare.........

agreed...on all counts.

For all of Baker's faults, being overly cocky when he shouldn't have been....that absolutely pales in comparison to Watson's baggage. I don't care how much better of a football player he is.

Not to mention the other receiver they gave $18mill/year to that still hasn't had a 1,000 yard season. As a Niner fan I know all too well how much Baalke sucks. I can't believe he got another GM job.
