The reality is not everyone is a Hawks fan.
Hell, if you grew up around here and watched pro football prior to 1976, there is a good chance they aren’t someone’s favorite team.
If someone didn’t grow up here, there is a damn good chance they aren’t a Hawks fan.
Never understood why someone has to be a fan of a team just because you live in the area….See Mariners.
I actually enjoy the banter. Same as the shit talking that will show up in this falls college football thread. Just look at all the happy Bronco fans here.
You have to admit there is some humor in seeing a 60+ year old bald guy that is 200 lbs overweight walking around Fred Meyer on Blue Friday wearing a two sizes too small Russell Wilson #3 action green jersey.

I guess I just personally don't get joy shit talking other teams. At all. Rams are the Seahawks biggest rival, but making fun of them doesn't really bring me joy. Cooper Kupp has become one of my favorite players to watch. Deebo is becoming another favorite (49ers). I guess I relate more to finding things to like, and hoping your team can still beat them.

In 2 years he will get 50 million bucks a year, we weren't going to be paying that kind of coin and be competitive.
Move forwards, deal with the pain and draft well...the only option here.

I think we're going to miss who he WAS, not who he is when he's aging.

Sure most will miss him, but the hawks were probably going to be bottom dwellers with him anyway.

Look, try not to take it too seriously, I mean, my team had an all time great who's face looks like a horse and another who's forehead is taller than El Capitan....prolly shouldn't be taking things so serious....sorry (not really) to offend the serious types with some good natured ribbing.

Folks have to remember that all too often, the "good natured" part is lost in translation when communicating via text. It's typically very difficult to tell the difference.
