Been hearing this for awhile. I don want to have anything to do with it. Our locker room is too positive for his ego. This would be a interesting turn of events in the 2022 QB shuffle should it come true.

It's his home team growing up. So maybe he pulls a Marshawn Lynch to play for his favorite home team at the end of his career.Brady has always said he would like to finish his career in SF. The thinking I've heard (Steve Young) is nothing will happen until July or so, let things cool in TB and they have a QB in place, then 1 or 2 year deal in SF for Brady.
cheers
Would he if the 9ers weren’t contenders? It's his home team growing up. So maybe he pulls a Marshawn Lynch to play for his favorite home team at the end of his career.
Win a super bowl every 10 years and it's not even close. I would take nine 0-17 seasons in a row if it meant 1 Superbowl. There is so much parody in the NFL (see Rams and Bengals) that consistently winning super bowls is next to impossible. The glaring exception is Brady...the best QB of all time who also understood that taking team friendly contracts so you're massively underpaid meant the team could afford other great players (looking at you Russ). So this whole thing brings up a good question:
Would you rather be a borderline playoffs, 1st round, maybe second round loss type team every year?
Or would you rather win a super bowl every 10 years with a few bad years in between?
That thinking/rumors are wrong since that's not how it works....it's not just a "1 or 2 year deal in SF". It's not as simple as Tom waking up one day and saying "hey I want to play again for team X" .Brady has always said he would like to finish his career in SF. The thinking I've heard (Steve Young) is nothing will happen until July or so, let things cool in TB and they have a QB in place, then 1 or 2 year deal in SF for Brady.

I read the first half of this and though you were saying Brady going to the 49ers would be chasing ringsWould he if the 9ers weren’t contenders?
He’s chasing rings.
If I remember correctly, people genuinely thought the raiders were contenders at that point
yeah, now it's Bosa/Mack.Ughh…Khalil Mack to the Bolts…would have preferred a Raider reunion. Crosby and Mack would have been formidable…
Or both…at least Gruden is not making the picks…yeah, now it's Bosa/Mack.
Your Raiders had better do something....or crush the draft.
SF would have been in, and possibly won the Super Bowl last year with TB at QB. I doubt anyone would care about his ego, which is a strange sentiment anyway considering his history of not taking max money so his team be improved.Been hearing this for awhile. Yeah, I have never heard of Brady being a disruptive force in the locker room, exactly the opposite, everything I've seen and read is he is a great teammate. He gets fired up on the sideline on occasion, but I don't see that as any great negative - look at some of the malcontents he has had as receivers, I'd say he has done OK (full disclosure, I am not a Tom Brady fan, just a fan of great accomplishments).SF would have been in, and possibly won the Super Bowl last year with TB at QB. Even as a Seahawks guy, I overall like Brady way more than Wilson for LOTS of reasons.Brady's the guy folks love to hate....unless he's on your team.
By all accounts, he's a lubricator, not an agitator.
I really don't like where this is headed....and this was before the news just broke that Deshaun will NOT face criminal charges. Pete and Schneider have a history of not giving a shit about off the field issues.
