True smash-mouth football game!

Wheels coming off.

It was a good first half, but Hawks were gonna have to be perfect to win this game. And "perfect" is almost impossible in the NFL.

Ugly finish!

Ouch.

Wow... that turned into a whippin' fast.

San Fran is good. They would have to lay a major egg to not make the Super Bowl. They may run into trouble there, but they look like the class of the NFC to me.

Man, did the hawks players make halftime bets on the niners? I’m not sure I’ve seen a team fall apart quite so fast.

Halftime adjustments, indeed.

On a side note, Vegas sure knows what they're doing, huh? A 10-point spread seemed high to me. Glad I'm not a betting man....

I will say that the refs didn't give the hawks any help in the second half. Some bad calls/no-calls.

Lousy finish but it's hard to get too upset. Remember how they looked against the Niners last month? I think overall they've played pretty damn well, but as Josh said they were going to have to be absolutely perfect to pull this off, and against a team that is just a different class the wheels eventually fell off.

O Line has played much better than the last game. At least they aren't feasting on Geno. They've been able to run the ball ok. Metcalf has had a huge game. Geno has been damn good for the most part. (Typed this before the INT but that certainly didn't change anything in this game)

I like to watch this game and imagine this team with an upgrade at the interior D Line, rookies with a full season under their belt, a quality defensive tackle, and a quality pass rusher. Those things could easily be addressed in the off-season.

No matter how this plays out I think they've played a good game against a team that is loaded with talent, doesn't match up well for their weaknesses, and is incredibly well coached.

I'll be curious how the Niners fare against a team that can really get after the QB. I think the Eagles give them a lot of problems. Purdy has been great to start his career but it seems obvious to be that a team with a defense that can consistently harass him is going to have a chance.

Good season, and the future looks bright. There's teams in the playoffs the Hawls could have bear, unfortunately they had to face a team that is really loaded and at the top of their game. It happens.

Glass half full - hawks have 4 picks in the top ~50, of which two are top 20 picks. Interior of offensive line needs work and maybe a disruptive DT, get a legit WR3,

I would agree but add improving the interior of the O line to the priority list if I were drafting/adding

Just remember, Jamal Adams has been out the whole season. I feel like having him would have stepped up the whole defense a notch or two.

I meant to type "upgrade at the interior O Line" in my post but screwed up lol. Yeah I totally agree

Brock Purdy is playing like a veteran.

Situational awareness of a seasoned QB.
