Jimmy G has all the motivation in the world for this game (and the season generally). He's got a chance to show teams that he should have been traded for, show the Niners they shouldn't have chucked him for Trey Lance, and get a huge payday next season as a free agent.

I suspect the Niners are going to get the best version of Jimmy G this season, but for sure this game.

If you offered me the deal that the hawks would lose every game this season, but do it competitively (or even just entertainingly), I'd take it. The DEN game is the only one I wanted to win. We can tank for the draft the rest of the season as long as it's at least interesting to watch.

On that note...

Russ is only 6/19 for 93 yds and no scores in the first half of the DEN/HOU game. Slow starts feel familiar...
 
Our poor defense has been playing far too long.

I got tired of the no offence Seattle and switched to watch Russ Cook. Well he still can't cook in Denver. Four times in the red zone and two field goals. He's not cooking very well there either. I wonder if the powers to be in Denver are wondering when their QB is going to cook at all. The people in the stands look discussed at their QB.
 
Russ is a player who while still good, is not going to get better, only going to get worse.
Just one of 256 million reasons to have traded him away.

I think this is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been bored watching a Hawk’s game. If i am honest, i wasn’t expecting to win this game, but i didn’t think it would be so bad.
