Interesting. I've caught what I called Shoal Bass and Redeye Bass in some of those drainages before, mostly the northern parts of them, but with all the genetic splitting happening with these Southeastern US endemic bass, and all the introduced species and hybridization, who knows what I caught. All I know is that fishing rivers for those river bass is a lot of fun. The redeyes in the Chattahoochee had a tendency to swim into my legs when hooked!
