I met and talked to Bill at the ceremony for a large museum exhibit I designed ( Blazermania)at the Oregon History Museum back in the mid 90’s. I got a kink in my neck looking up as we talked about the replica locker we built that he]used when a Trailblazer. I got to shop for stuff to fill his locker with. One small collection I researched to shop for Grateful Dead cassette tapes to appoint his locker shelf with… we chatted about that. Got to meet a lot of past players in the top fifty players list. Anyway Bill was one of a kind.

Hours away from the Finals…Porzingis may be the X factor in this series…5 weeks without playing…
 
stoked to watch this series. I'm rooting for the Mavericks, but wouldn't be super disappointed if the C's won with this group.

I hope for a 7 game series.

Aside from Kristaps playing out of his mind in the 1st quarter, the C’s will make Luca play defense…he looked gassed several times during the game…

Both of those Dallas superstar guards are ambivalent defenders. The same can't be said for the C's guards. Jrue Holloday would tell you that even the white guys play defense for the C's.
 
surprised nobody mentioned the passing of one of the ALL-TIME greats! Jerry West. Listening to Dan Patrick this morning...was a pretty emotional (and absolutely incredible....that showed his impact) show.
 
btw, series over....but it doesn't really matter.

Jaylen Brown is also the best player on the C's. the other guy might be the most technically skilled, but he's not the best.

oh man, that dude hit all of the right buttons through his NBA life (minus the title numbers...)...but man, he was at the top at every level of his career.

btw, if you do want a tough listen, find that Dan Patrick part where Dan first learns...during the show. Listened to it right before walking in to work. Big mistake.
