Joker is the only center in history to score 40 points and at least 10 assists in a playoff game, and he's done it twice. Not Wilt, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq, etc..the Joker is the most skilled big man to ever play the game. He was lights out that night..step back jumpers, dunks, fade-away hooks, triple direction fakes...and doesn't whimper to the ref's about fouls, just mans up and plays
He’s a great player for sure…headed to the HOF. He does his share of “trying to influence a foul call” though…but not nearly as bad as some. I just don’t get crying to the ref on nearly every possession…it seems counterproductive to me.

Really thought the Nugs were coming back until they got down by 50 with 4 minutes to go. Couldn't buy a bucket for most of the game.

I think it is great to see some new teams make it this far. I was very surprised to see the Pacers do so well but they squandered a big opportunity tonight. Up by three with two costly turnovers in the last period of regulation only to see Boston come back and win in OT. I have not checked Vegas but I would think their odds to win it all is pretty good, especially when their PF/C comes back. But the Twolves beat a great team and have momentum on their side as well. I'd be surprised if it's not those two in the finals.

TWolves surprised everyone by taking out the Nuggets…I was sure they were going to the Championship.

Knicks had bad luck losing Brunson in game seven…

Celtics never fail to underwhelm at home…they should have lost last night…

C's certainly got lucky. They are a difficult team to watch at times.

Good performance from the Celtics last night...T'Wolves need a bounce back game at home tonight...

Very surprised at the Mav team; I did not think the best two Mavs would be 3-0 against the best three Wolves. I'm not surprised about the C's at this point.

It looks like Luca & Kyrie are in a groove…

Sorry to hear about the passing of Bill Walton. Lot of people here talk about Jokic being the best all-around center but in my 60 year history of watching the NBA, I never saw a better all-around player, period. He was taught well by John Wooden and don't forget that 88 game winning streak, a record that will never be broken.
R.I.P. Bill.✌

Not only a great player, but a great person. He’s somewhere meditating while listening to the Dead wearing a tied dyed shirt…

Luka seems like a rally good player, but man do I dislike the hunting fouls/flopping side of his game. He and Harden are too good for that shit but lean into it. I get it, it works, but where is the respect?

Bill Walton was one of a kind - a fabulous basketball player and an even better human. Though I sometimes struggled to listen to his quirky color commentary, I think he would have made an excellent college professor if he would have chose that path.

He was a regular visitor with his family each summer at the Tuolumne Meadows Campground in Yosemite where my dad was a seasonal park ranger. Luke (7 or 8 at the time) got lost in the massive campground and my dad found him and returned him to the Walton campsite. Bill invited him to morning coffee which became an annual tradition that my Pops always looked forward to where they talked all things hoops, life and John Wooden.

I really like this clip where Walton shares lessons of leadership he learned from Wooden - principles that transfer off the court too. RIP Bill Walton

Walton was a great example of a lot of good things. I think it is fitting that he passed away the day after what I think will be the last event in the Pac 12- the conference baseball championship game. He was such a supporter of the conference through the years.

That is a video I will send to my family. Thanks.

Bill Walton played 20 minutes per night for the 85-86 Celtics. They were some of the most entertaining munutes of basketball that I ever saw. He could pass like no big man that I had ever seen. He rebounded understood spacing and defensive positioning and how to play with teamates. He and Bird together was really something to see. I've never heard of any story where he treated anyone poorly.

He was a big man in every way.

My first Sonics game was in 1974 at Seattle Center when I was in grade school, and it was against the Portland Trailblazers. It was Bill Walton's rookie season.
I had never seen tall people anywhere before and there was this striking, towering skinny guy with headband, long red-haired ponytail and shaggy beard running laps around halfcourt getting ready for the game.
He was super graceful and his game flowed.

A true young hippy that made an impression I recall easily 50 years later (and remembering how cool Slick Watts was to see as well).

I really enjoy positive people, and he was a great one !
