Micro Jet Sleds

I probably have to get one of these. The idea of ripping up the Skagit w/ a couple 13' two hander hanging off the back really gets me fired up.
Or ripping across the lake to get to where all the big bass are.
I'm sure I could figure out a way to rig up some rod holders, trolling motor and depth finder for still water.

It just feels right.

Guy must be heading for the slap boxing event across the pond . . .

This is an utterly practical idea, since you can just throw it on the front of your raft, run your drift and then just blast back up to your truck in the micro jet sled. Back at the put-in, you toss it in the bed of your truck, or maybe even the back of your SUV or station wagon, and then you drive in the comfort of your rig to get your raft. Just think of all the savings on increasingly costly shuttle fees, not to mention the fact that you just can't put a price on the peace of mind you'll have, not having to trust a stranger with driving your rig or potentially ruining your day by failing to correctly complete the shuttle! This could be a real game-changer.

Saw a guy with something slightly larger on the Klickitat once. He hit a lot of rock, and he hit them hard. Didn't look very fun and it didn't last very long...

I really like where your head is at here.

Looks like you can get the kit for $1,600 (if you can weld it together). That's only 40 shuttles assuming $40/shuttle. You'd have the thing basically paid for in a couple years. Plus, you'll look way cooler ripping up stream on one of these compared to the dork on a scooter. Huge street cred opportunity here.

Exactly. Plus, you can give the finger to all those yahwehs you lowholed on the way down!

Spoke with this fellow in the Walmart lot in October of 2018. He was making jet boats out of the jet drive of jet skis. I think he was from Olympia. His number is on the side of the boat.

Does it void the manufacturers warranty?

Does he provide any warranty? Maybe the tail light warranty. Aka... when the tail lights are no longer visible when the trailer drives away, the warranty becomes null and void...

Actually, does it make any sense?

Talk about puckering up..
