We are in self imposed quarantine due to recent Covid which, thankfully, was very easy but I am continuing to test positive 12 days after end of symptoms. First year of Christmas with no family in 41 years. Still thankful and consider ourselves blessed.
Wishing you are all surrounded with the peace and love of the seasonโ€ฆ.
I hope youโ€™re all well soon!!

Flor de Canja is good, I like the 12, and once a year get the 18 as a present...
Hard to beat for the money, and reminds of Nicaragua Tarpon fishing, so that makes it my favorite.
:)

Merry Christmas everyone. I wish each and every one of you the best. Remember, as I will be trying to do, that these people are your family love the good in them, ignore the bad and toss it away from your memory. Love them anyway so that YOU can have a good day.. enjoy the food and moderate your drink unless of course you're not driving :)
Awww heck you don't need me telling you what to do Christmas morning,..

Merry Christmas..
Rob are you still in Colorado, I think last time I heard you were in Pueblo..? Watching the news, Denver is really getting hit bad. Both times I worked in Denver, I never experienced such bad weather like that..

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holidays..

Yes, I am in Pueblo.. about the only thing Pueblo has going for it is the weather.
The rest of the state gets nuked with snow and we just get a dusting..

Darn gorgeous area for the other three seasons. Actually I was in Colorado Springs, think it was about half hour from Pueblo. One of the places was referred to "Garden of the Gods". Beautiful red rock structured country.

Colorado is one beautiful state with lots of gorgeous scenery. I worked there for about a year and a half back in 2015-17 and returned for another year in 2018-19 just prior to the pandemic hitting. My time off was spent exploring everything Colorado had to offer and I still missed about 50%..

Colorado is definitely beautiful however the front range is almost all private.

One thing that was a surprise and a disappointment is how much of their "gold medal" waters are just stocked fisheries with a few hold overs at least for rainbows.

If I was to come to Colorado for fishing I'd focus on areas with browns..

Bumu was good, but pricey...Flor de Cana a favourite...BUT my buddy gave me a blind taste test of a dark rum...It was pretty good and was surprised to hear it was Lamb's Navy dark rum....showing that, like wine, price doesn't necessarily indicate quality.
Nice! One of my all time favorites is 5 star Barbancourt from Port Au Prince. Got hooked on it when I worked the relief effort in Haiti in the mid 90's. Nothing like being able to stop at the front door of the distillery and buy it for $3.-$5 a bottle. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

BTW, if anyone is on Maui, be sure look up the Maui Distillery. They make a great white rum, as well as a very potent vodka. The tour includes a living library of sugar cane varieties.
