I agree with you. In the case of my mom's brownies with 1/2 of Oleo - I think there was a time when consumers were led to believe things like "margarine" were better for you than "butter". Now we know better, I hope; margarine is probably closer to crude oil than fat from milk. (We use butter, olive oil and peanut oil for cooking/spreading/munching - always butter on popcorn popped in peanut oil.I’m not a dietician or a serious scientist
But I think anytime you ingest fake shit and ask your body to deal with it you’re rolling the dice on what your body might decide.
