SFR March Madness PNWFF Auction Lot #2

Sorta fishing-related

Stonedfish

Known Pluviophile
Forum Supporter
67 flies.
These are flies tied by forum members for the recently concluded March Madness tournament.
Board member @Zak who won the tournament gave a set of his winnings for this lot. Thanks Zak for your generosity.
If you plan to fish for coho, pinks, searun cutts or maybe even ling cod, this would be a good way to fill up your fly box.
Proceeds from this auction will go to PNWFF to help support the site.
The person with the winning bid will make a one time donation to PNWFF.
Once @Evan B, @Josh or @Billy let me know the money has hit the account, I’ll ship these out to the winning bidder.
Bidding will close 4/16 at 8:00 PST.
I’ll start the bidding at $50.
Thanks
SF

Let's pump up these bids, people! I'll go $125. At less than $2/fly, it's cheaper than a sweat shop (and more ethical, unless making a bunch of local geezers tie at that rate is frowned upon). There's probably at least 30 hours of labor and $50 worth of materials and hooks in there, not to mention the priceless local knowledge.

Seriously, I think it would be fun to check out the different ideas and implementations from a bunch of folks who are about as close to experts on Puget Sound fly fishing as you can get. Easily worth the money, and for a good cause to boot.

Does it come with an inventory of which members tied which flies? (Just curious; that would be fun.)

If you look at page 7 of this thread, you can see who tied what flies. Some also have toe tags.
Thanks for the bid!

I’m not a geezer! Can’t speak for the rest of the geezers though. :p

I got called a grizzler on the old board by a pissed off younger guy. Is that a different level of geezer? 😂
