We have a ways to go to catch up with countries like Australia and Germany but there is hope.
I am not sure that emulating Australia is a wise move.We have a ways to go to catch up with countries like Australia and Germany but there is hope.
Wait. Without private jets how would your betters travel the globe to lecture you about the evils of fossil fuel? Or attend a polo match in Aspen? Here's a plan for the future. How about we ban private jets?
If this is such an existential crisis, shouldn't that be a no brainer?
If Germany is your model, I think I'll pass.
I mean, I know I'm in the minority on this forum but I actually prefer having heat during the winter.
Why then do you go outside and strap boards to your feet to seek out the deepest piles of frozen water you can find?If Germany is your model, I think I'll pass.

Oh, for sure. And right behind that, or maybe ahead of it in terms of energy conservation, how's about we ban using fuel guzzling trucks for the folly of chasing trout that we don't even eat? I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the carbon footprint of recreational fishing exceeds that of private jets on the global scale. Here's a plan for the future. How about we ban private jets?

Are you debating the facts presented in her posts or just denying them because she is clearly not on the side of the climate hysteria that has hijacked the Australian energy system?I chose Germany because it does not see nearly the same amount of sunlight as Australia and is still ranked 4th in the world in Solar output.
JoNova - After a look at this cite, I will agree with an earlier post in this thread.
This thread is not about "Climate Hysteria" as you put it. It is about folks telling us how and why they transitioned to Solar energy. From what I have seen, there reasons are mainly economic. Are you debating the facts presented in her posts or just denying them because she is clearly not on the side of the climate hysteria that has hijacked the Australian energy system?
here's what 'climate hysteria' looks like for those of us who give a damn about others..This thread is not about "Climate Hysteria" as you put it.
